Fr. Dominic Chinh Pham
Fr. Dominic has been a supporter of Sunflower Mission since the beginning and has chaired its Scholarship Program (Dao-Le Scholarship and Sponsor-a-Student Project) since its inception in 2004. Father Dominic has supported many other nonprofit activities and is especially passionate about those projects that provide better opportunities for the unfortunate people living in Vietnam.
Fr. Dominic's additional contributions to Sunflower Mission include supporting fundraising projects (annual flu shot drive, Sing for the Children, yard sales, and music concert) as well as promoting Sunflower Mission's work in the Vietnamese media.
Father Dominic currently serves as Pastor at St. Peter Vietnamese Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas. Prior to his current appointment, Fr. Dominic served at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Community in Houston, TX. He is active in and has held leadership positions with many organizations in Houston, including serving as Chaplain for The Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Society (since 1998) and Marriage Family Enrichment Program (since 2000).
He received Bachelors degrees in Math and Philosophy from Louisiana State University (LSU) and a Master of Divinity degree from Oblate School of Theology. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1995 in Baton Rouge and is a member of the INCARNATIO CONSECRATIO MISSIO(ICM), a society of Apostolic Life
