Ms. Elena Tran is a Human Resources consultant, with an emphasis on professional recruiting.

She graduated summa cum laude with BSBA degrees in Business Management and Marketing from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. She was valedictorian of her high school graduating class at Northeast Magnet High School in Kansas City. Elena has been awarded scholarships and awards for her academic achievements and performance on the job. In 2002, she was named by the Federal of Houston Professional Women as a Woman of Excellence. In 2003, she received the VCSA Young Activist Award from the Vietnamese Culture & Science Association.

Elena was touched deeply on her first return trip to Vietnam in 2002, especially when witnessing the living conditions of the children there. Elena decided to concentrate her efforts into bringing education assistance to the needy in Vietnam through Sunflower Mission. She has been the President of Sunflower Mission since its inception in 2002.

Elena is a proud mother of three children. Elena and family reside in Sugar Land, TX.
